Amber was raised by her loving parents with her younger brother in Southern California. She grew up in the church and was very involved in her youth group. Through her father’s influence, she grew up loving music, playing piano, and singing in various choirs all through high school. On the weekends, she traveled with her club soccer team or was running hurdles on the track.
She attended UCSD for her undergraduate degree in Human Development and completed her Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology at SDSU. After graduating, Amber worked as a Speech and Language Therapist in the La Mesa Spring Valley school district while starting her side business as a Wedding Photographer.
Amber met her husband Aaron at a college and career group at church in 2002. They have spent the last 18 years serving the youth in various churches, hosting foreign exchange students in their home, and adventuring with their family. She now is the proud homeschool mom of their four awesome kids.
Amber will be using her experience from working in the children’s and young adult ministries as an educator, tutor, and photographer on the Montenegrin team.
